At the DCMO BOCES Staff Meeting held on Monday March 16th, District Superintendent Perry Dewey discussed the school closing plans and emergency strategies.  He also discussed the critical role we play in our region by saying, "Look for solutions, come up with resources.  We are going to do everything we can to support our schools and our students."

His words ignited a spirit of cooperation and collaboration.  Behind the scenes, the Instructional Support Team began to assemble multiple online learning platforms links and disseminated the information to our educators to strengthen their efforts.  The print shop team moved aside non critical projects and began to print, produce, and distribute hardcopy material for schools to support students without computer online access.

The management team’s hands on approach brought them together to identify solutions to problems affecting students during school closing.  The support services team that provides clerical and accounting services to our component schools coordinated strategies to continue to support schools while observing health and safety guidelines.

The DCMO BOCES team is packing lunches, mailing packages, loading shipments, coaching educators, and working together to deliver solutions. Reflecting about the staff’s high spirit of support and collaboration, Dewey said, "We are privilege to have so many team members who care so much about our students."
