CNA Students Design Games for Local Nursing Home Residents

Chenango Campus health careers students joined residents at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Nursing Unit for a day of fun. The CNA and ECE students were given the challenge of creating games for the residents at the nursing home.  They did an amazing job and really used their imaginations.  The CNA students then took the games to CMH to play with the residents.  The residents loved it so much, but they really wanted to meet all of the students who helped.  So, they decided to come to BOCES to meet everyone and play the games.  The Carpentry students also helped because the residents requested a cornhole game that the health careers program could make.  Congratulations to our staff and students who took the leadership to create new resources for our senior citizens.
