Dear DCMO Community,
I was advised today that one of our students at the Chenango Campus has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and they have been in contact with the Chenango County Health Department.
News like this can be received with mixed emotions from our community. As always, the safety and health of our students and staff are our top priority. We continue to work to support our students, families, and employees during this difficult time and appreciate your cooperation.
We are working closely with the appropriate Chenango County Department of Health and following all of their recommendations for quarantining and deep cleaning of spaces. Through this process the importance of social distancing and wearing masks (covering nose and mouth) was reinforced.
If you have questions regarding the COVID-19 virus, please visit or call:

Please remember that social distancing and good hygiene are our best defenses against the virus. Stay home and do not go out into public unless you have to.
We know this time may be stressful on employees, students and families. If you feel the need to talk to someone, the state has established a new Mental Health hotline at 1-844-863-9314.
