During the month of November, DCMO BOCES is celebrating Mentorship Month. A time to say thank you to the many mentors who came forward to support this program in 2023, to recognize the contributions from the Appalachian Regional Commission, The Community Foundation for South Central New York, The Greater Norwich Foundation and the Visions Federal Credit Union. Their financial resources made it possible for 61 students to participate in the mentoring program. We also celebrate the collaboration from our media partners, The Evening Sun, and the Norwich Sidney Pennysavers who funded the printing and distribution of a recognition publication to share the news and recognize our volunteers. Most importantly. we celebrate this month the mentees who participated and connected with regional careers and opportunities. Lastly, to the Career Destinations Team and our Communications Team who worked so hard on this recognition project. There is room for many partners, volunteers, and mentors to continue supporting the new Regional Mentorship Program.
