Adult GED—High School Equivalency Diploma

For those aged 21 or order, DCMO BOCES offer open enrollment for adults who would like preparation to sit for the GED exam administered by New York State.
This program offers individualized instruction specifically tailored to enable adult learners in basic high school credentialing and provides preparation in writing, reading, math social studies, and science.
DCMO BOCES realizes that sometimes opportunities are limited for some, that’s why we offer convenient open enrollment – your classes can start anytime!
Our Adult GED Prep classes are FREE of charge for both instruction and learning materials.
You may also qualify to take a Career & Technical Education course while enrolled in our GED program at no cost to you.  Just contact us, and we can help you. 

Prepare For Your High School Equivalency Diploma At Home!

You can study for your GED exam at home for free.  If you qualify, our Distance Learning Program may be the perfect match for you. To qualify for this program you must be 21 years of age or older.
Success of independent studies depends on the student's commitment to do the work.  An entrance test is required to determine eligibility.
Our team will work with you to assist you and to explain step by step how to take advantage of this program.
