Instructional Support Services

Welcome

The Instructional Support Services provides ongoing support for curriculum, instruction, and assessment initiatives.

We are committed to providing all educators with research resources, technical assistance, workshops, and information that will enable them to make the critical connections between the New York State Learning Standards and daily classroom practices.  Explore your learning choices and meet your support team.

We invite you to explore the many learning opportunities and resources we offer and please don't hesitate to drop me a line and tell us how we can further support your efforts.

DASA

DCMO BOCES offers a workshop covering the compliance elements involved with the  Dignity For All Students Act (DASA).  The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) requires all public and charter schools to record and investigate incidents that may be harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or threats based on personal characteristics of students, whether perpetrated by peers or District/school employees.

The program is offered free of charge to staff from any of the DCMO BOCES Component Schools.  For individuals outside the DCMO BOCES schools, the fee is $75.00 per person.

The workshop is currently offered asynchronously. Please refer to the DASA - Dignity for All Students Act Flyer for the registration link.

To inquire about this program contact Kerry Simmons by email at [email protected] or by calling (607) 335-1360
