The Career Destinations program that began in 2019 launched many initiatives in 2021. Among them are the Coaching and Consulting Program and the Graduates Paid Internship Program. The following are some highlights from the activities that benefited students and the efforts to connect schools and employers:
Over 200 Seniors Gathered to Learn About Local Jobs
To support local employers’ critical recruitment needs, DCMO BOCES hosted a Job Fair. The event, held at the Alan D Pole (ADP) campus, gathered 62 employers and 4 higher education institutions. FIVE EMPLOYERS TO RECEIVE FUNDING TO DEVELOP COACHING/INTERNSHIP PLANS
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the ARC Grant Funding ($5,000) for the Coaching and Consulting Stipend project. The following organizations ranked the highest in the evaluation rubric used by the Selection Committee and were chosen based on the strongest alignment with the goal of preparing a robust Internship Program.
