Students master skills of the trade established by the American Welding Society. Valuable skills for entry-level employment become the focus of this popular program, which includes experience with shielded metal, arc-welding, gas tungsten arc-welding, gas metal arc-welding and submerged arc-welding. Students gain additional skills in metal fabrication on both plate and pipe. Students will refine their skills as they practice blueprint reading for machining.
