Sports Coordination
Description:
The DCMO Sports Coordinator supervises the Interscholastic Sports Programs
for the seventy-two (72) high schools and seventy-seven (77) junior high schools
located in Section IV of the New York State Public High School Athletic
Association, Inc.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Scheduling of all sectional championships
- Evaluation and assignments of officials for sectionals
- Enforcement of rules and regulations
- Printing and distributing Section IV handbook, individual sports handbooks
and programs
- Scheduling all Section IV executive committee meetings, Section IV
athletic council meetings, and all Section IV committee and sports meetings
- Purchase and distribution of awards
- Represents Section IV at all NYSPHSAA, Inc. meetings
- Responsibility for all financial aspects related to Section IV athletic
programs
