Course Description |
Are you curious about how things work? Industry
needs people who can produce designs and change these designs as
production or construction takes place. Start with the basics of
engineering design. Then move to the computer equipment to master skills
in measurement, dimensioning, orthographic projections, geometric
construction, auxiliary views, isometric drawings and geometric
tolerancing to industry standards. Once designs are complete you will see
them produced through connections to machining, welding, carpentry, and
electronic courses. These skills -- and 15 potential college credits --
give you a real advantage whether going for a job or on to college for
drafting and/or engineering.
Students are required to own a scientific calculator. |
